15 Months - Fun in the Kitchen

Whoops!  We are almost at 16 months and I have yet to post about Alex at 15 months.  Shame on me.  In my defense it has been a busy, busy, snowy month!

Size:  At his 15 month checkup, Alex had dropped down to the 25th percentile.  He weighs 22 pounds 12 ounces and is 30 inches long.  He still looks big to everyone (is it all the hair?  the cheeks?) but he has definitely slowed down on the weight gain despite being a bottomless pit when it comes to food.  Thanks to cloth diapers his big bottom is most comfortable in 12-18 month pants, but he still wears some 12-month stuff as well.

Likes:  Playing in the kitchen cupboards!  You will see photographic evidence of this below.  :)  He also really likes playing in the bath now (but the hair washing is still a problem).

Dislikes:   Still hates to have his bottom cleaned.  He really clenches those cheeks together, haha.  :)

Sleeping:  There were a few weeks in there where nighttime sleep was a bit disrupted, which I think was due to teeth.  He still only has four, but we can tell there are more trying to work their way up, they are just taking their sweet time.

Eating:  Alex wanted to try my grapefruit one morning and I was shocked to see that he LOVED it!  Breakfast is still his favorite meal of the day (seriously, I think he would continue eating until lunchtime) and he also enjoys trying whatever is on mom or dad's plate.

Alex loves climbing in baskets and pushing them around the kitchen!

And...he's in one of the kitchen cabinets.

Ummm...where's Alex?

There he is!  (Peek-a-boo is still a favorite game and apparently never gets old.)

Daddy = Fun.  Always.  :)

He doesn't care for blueberries but he sure likes blueberry pancakes!

Surprise!  More kitchen cabinet fun.

He stands on the time, he just isn't into walking yet!

Eggs and toast, yum!

Just hanging out in the pantry.  No big deal.

"What is this stuff?  Is this the cold stuff from outside?"

"No.  No, I don't like it."

Whoops!  Stuck in the lazy susan.  :)
